By holding the oil on the friction surfaces with the concentric grooves, lock performance difference between when cold and warm is successfully minimised. Matched polishing plate and non-polishing plate (grooving/inner claw), the lock drag when the accelerator is off is halved. As a result, the transition time lag from free to lock is also halved to achieve a sharp and crisp lock feel. Combining with a sharp cam angle of 60 degrees and 70 degrees, the instant lock when the accelerator is applied realises a feel close to the lock reaction at the time of high initial or diff lock.
