Developed and tested in endurance races, sprint races, All Japan Gymkhana & Dirt Trial Championship events, the unique structure spreads oil over the entire plate maintaining performance in extreme conditions. Ideal oil lubrication is achieved by removal of the radial oil groove of the conventional outer claw plate. The new oil slow-through type S-type plates combine a polishing plate without distortion and an inner claw plate carved with a concentric grooves. Centrifugal force slowly moves the oil from the inside to the outside along the grooves, providing extremely ideal lubrication for LSD with high locking performance. By holding the oil on the friction surfaces with the concentric grooves, lock performance difference between when cold and warm is successfully minimised. By matching the polishing plate and the non-polishing plate (grooving/inner claw), the lock drag when the accelerator is off is halved. As a result, the transition time lag from free to lock is also halved to achieve a sharp and crisp lock feel. Combining with a sharp cam angle of 60 degrees and 70 degrees, the instant lock when the accelerator is applied realises a feel close to the lock reaction at the time of high initial or diff lock.
